Nature, actors, machines. In that order.
Dogme 95 swore technology out. We swear it in, under five rules.
- Access. A saga needs a home studio, not a studio lot. Anyone with a story may begin.
- New talent. Unknown faces take the lead.
- Original stories. Our own worlds, our own characters, written for the screen they will live on.
- Hybrid approach. Nothing replaces natural intelligence. Real actors, with the subtleties no model can invent, in original landscapes laid out for real. The machine extends the world; it never replaces the performer, nor Nature.
- Consent. No likeness without a licence, signed before the first frame.
Film what can be filmed. Generate the rest. Declare everything.
