Story first.
Begin with characters, a world and a reason to keep watching.
About the studio
A studio for stories and the intelligences that help make them.
Home Hollywood. Independent at heart.

Back to film.
With a wider world
behind me.
My path began in cinema and led me into farming, perfumery and landscape. Working with the living world changed how I observe, how I create and how I understand time.
Now I’m returning to filmmaking with Sun Sun Studio.
The studio brings those experiences into a new production practice: original writing, human performance, real places and emerging tools. I want to make stories with cinematic ambition and the freedom of an independent studio.
Home Hollywood is the name we give that approach.

How we work
Four production principles.
Human presence.
Let performance, observation and lived experience shape the work.
Real places.
Work with the character of landscapes, buildings and the people who inhabit them.
Creative responsibility.
Tools support the process. People make the creative decisions and remain responsible for the result.
The practice.
Original writing, human performance, real places and practical or digital production come together under The Home Hollywood Label.
